Building the rail for vehicle commerce.
paived.io is a neutral payments and identity network for everything that happens around a vehicle — washes, drive-thrus, fuel, parking, and valet.
Why we’re building this
Vehicle commerce is enormous — and completely fragmented.
Every wash, lot, and drive-thru runs its own cameras, its own app, its own account. A driver needs a different login for every operator they visit. And the closed “vehicle-payment” systems that promised to fix that often made it worse — opaque charges, refunds that take an email and a week, letters dressed up to look like government citations.
paived.io is the neutral network instead. One identity for the driver. An open rail for the operator, who keeps their own stack and their own customers. A transparent, consent-first posture for both. It is the pattern a payments network is supposed to follow — applied, deliberately, to vehicle commerce.
The first merchants
Built with real operators, not a whiteboard.
Level Parking — a multi-location parking operator across the U.S. Southeast — is the lighthouse merchant. The rail was designed against working sites with working economics; the identity vault, the consent capture, the cross-merchant charge authorization, and the LP↔paived integration all shipped against real Level Parking traffic.
The car wash is the next vertical — the first non-parking surface on the network. The walk-up QR enrollment flow that lets a driver join in under a minute at a wash tunnel is already built, ready for the first non-parking merchant. See paived.io/network for the current list.
Where the rail is today
Shipping in production.
The driver web (phone-OTP sign-in, cross-merchant receipts, granular consent, memberships, the 14-day used-car claim flow), the walk-up QR enrollment at paived.io/join, the merchant API at paived.io/api/v1, the HMAC-signed plate-capture ingress, and the paived-ops review + dispute queues are all running. Stripe Connect (for direct payment-method management) and bulk SMS dispatch are the next surfaces to come online.
How we operate
Neutral. Transparent. Consent-first.
Neutral
paived.io will never run a lot, a wash, or a restaurant. It does not compete with the merchants it serves — and says so in every operator agreement.
Transparent
Published pricing. Every charge shown before it lands. A clear receipt for every transaction. No charge ever disguised as a citation.
Consent-first
Every enrollment is opt-in. A driver controls their vehicles, their payment methods, and their data — and can leave the network at any time.
