paived.io · Parking

Lane payments for parking operators.

paived.io is the rail above your gate, your cameras, and your ParkMobile codes. Enrolled vehicles drive in, drive out, and the visit settles to the right account at the rate you publish. Your gate stays. Your cameras stay. Your processor stays.

Drive in, drive out. The visit is paid.

Drive in. Drive out. It's paid.

Lane payments for parking, above your existing controls.

Enrolled vehicles drive in and the camera at the entry recognizes them. The session opens against the enrolled account. On exit, the camera closes the session and the charge settles at your published rate. Monthly parkers, transient drivers, fleet vehicles, and reservation holders are all one flow — paived.io routes the charge to the right card and the right account.

How it works

Enroll. Arrive. Settle.

01

Enroll

A driver enrolls a vehicle and a payment method once — on your site, in your group's onboarding flow, or on paived.io. Group permits and monthly plans link to the enrollment.

02

Drive in

Your entry camera reads the plate. paived.io opens a session against the enrolled account, applies any active permit or membership, and signals the gate to lift.

03

Drive out. Charge settles.

Your exit camera closes the session. The charge lands at your published rate — covered by a monthly plan, billed transient, or itemized to a fleet account. The receipt goes to the driver's inbox.

Use cases

Every driver is one identity on the rail.

Monthly parkers

Monthly parkers drive in on their plan, no decal needed at the gate. paived.io enforces the plan's hours, zones, and authorized vehicles in real time.

Transient drive-in / drive-out

Non-members enroll a vehicle once and pay by plate at any lot on the network. Your transient rate stands — paived.io doesn't mark it up.

Reservation and group bookings

A reservation links to one or more plates. The first time any of those vehicles arrives, the rail recognizes it and the booked rate applies — no QR scan, no pre-pay code.

What stays

Your existing stack stays in place.

paived.io is the rail above whatever you run. It does not replace your gate, your cameras, your meter, your processor, or your ParkMobile and aggregator partners — and it doesn't ask you to migrate any of them.

Across the network

One enrollment. Every lane on the network.

A driver who enrolls at your sites doesn't enroll again the next time they wash, fuel up, drive through, park, or valet anywhere else on the paived.io network.

Mechanism
Lane payments, explained
Lane payments are vehicle-recognized transactions — authorized and settled by the vehicle's identity at the lane, not by a card, phone, or kiosk. Here's how they work, where they fit, and why they're the next payments category.

What is vehicle commerce?
Vehicle commerce is the category of transactions that happen because of or in proximity to a vehicle — wash, drive-thru, fuel, parking, valet. Here's how the category is defined, what makes it different from retail, and why it needs operator-neutral infrastructure.

Why operator-neutral matters
Vehicle commerce works as a network only when no single operator owns the rail. Here's what operator-neutral means in practice, why every major payments network became one, and what paived.io's contractual neutrality terms look like.

Cross-merchant identity: why one driver, every merchant changes the math
Most loyalty + payments systems lock identity to a single merchant. Vehicle commerce inverts that — the driver enrolls once, every merchant recognizes the same plate. Here's the network-effects argument, with the failure modes that every closed loyalty system has hit.

Plate vs phone: why license plates beat mobile apps for vehicle commerce
Vehicle commerce already has a universal hardware token bolted to every car: the license plate. Here's why the plate wins on speed, friction, fairness, and infrastructure cost compared to mobile-app-based payments — and where phones still play a role.
